A New Lobby & More! | Jul 3, 2024
Today is an extra awesome day to celebrate, because we are releasing a pretty big update to Minehut! This is the start of a new era of Minehut, with a brand new lobby, a refreshed compass menu with a separate control center menu, some great QOL changes to our website, and more!
By the way, did you catch it last week that we made multi-file downloads for free servers possible?

In-Game Experience
- A new lobby! The theme for this lobby is "Building the Future of Minehut", and we want to celebrate this community's creativity and hard work in making amazing things together (parkour and more coming back soon!)
- A fully refreshed compass menu
- A brand new Control Center menu for managing your servers, friends, tags, cosmetics, and settings
- Random join portal is back!
- 1.8 PvP category added to server categories (we will monitor to decide if this will be permanent)
- All non-ranked players now get click-to-join feature on /ad
- Vote reward announcements are now click-to-vote
- Added some helpful commands like /help, /support, /ranks, etc...
- Tablist is re-ordered
- In-game server creation time has been cut in half and the onboarding is much easier with a new menu
Server Management on our Website
- The file manager now displays the folder sizes
- If you are using more than 85% of your server's storage space, you will see a warning on our server dashboard
- We've improved the flow for changing your server version to decrease errors some users experience
- Upgrading and managing your server plan is much easier (with more improvements to this coming)
- 1.21 Experimental can be selected (it is NOT stable and may break plugins or corrupt worlds - make a backup)
- Server categories are now ordered alphabetically
There have also been a wide variety of bugs and other backend adjustments to improve performance across Minehut 🙂
