Cosmetics
Minehut has a wide range of cool cosmetics that players can equip either in the Minehut lobby or on player servers that have the cosmetics option enabled.[1] Cosmetics can be earned by either purchasing them on the Minehut Cosmetics Store or completing challenges during lobby events.
Below is a list of all cosmetics that Minehut offers with a short description. For a more in-depth description, click on the cosmetic name in the table.
Cosmetics can also be opened by running the /cosmetics command.

Gems
Gems are an in-game currency that can be used to purchase Cosmetics. You can earn gems by salvaging duplicate cosmetics or by voting.
Dragon Crates
Dragon Crates are purchasable from the Minehut Cosmetics Store which you can open to get some cosmetics.
History
Cosmetics were first introduced on Minehut on April 29th, 2017. These original cosmetics started out as just some particle effects and gadgets.[2]
On September 20th, 2022, the cosmetics were expanded to what we now see today and the cosmetics store was introduced.
On October 6th, 2022, the fall cosmetics set was released.
On October 17th, 2022, the Spooktacular 2022 cosmetics set was released.
On November 10th, 2022, the Maid Bundle cosmetics were released.[3]
On November 22nd, 2022, the Minehut Crate was released for cosmetics.
On December 7th, 2022, the ability to use Minehut cosmetics on all player servers was released.
On December 19th, 2022, 4 new ice cosmetics were released for the winter.
On January 13th, 2023, a set of new winter cosmetics were released.
On January 20th, 2023, the Ninja Set and Arcade Set cosmetics were released.
On February 9th, 2023, 8 new love themed cosmetics were released for Valentines day.
On February 21st, 2023, the ability to disable cosmetics on free servers was released.
On October 12th, 2023, the Nickelodeon Minehut Challenge Series was announced with new Nickelodeon themed cosmetics.
On June 26th, 2024, “Avatar Items” was changed to “Cosmetics” in the top menu on the website.
On August 29th, 2024, new Autumn cosmetics were released and the Cat and Dog Emoji pack from the Cats vs Dogs Derby.
On November 4th, 2024, an exclusive golf club cosmetic was released for users who collect all 27 items hidden throughout the Golf server.
On February 27th, 2025, the Shadow Motorcycle and Tails cosmetics were released.
On March 11th, 2025, a new lobby was released with new cosmetics for completing the scavenger hunt.
On June 5th, 2025, a revamped version of the previous lobby was released with some new summer themed cosmetics.
