Description

Torrent is a small multiplayer network accessible from the Minehut lobby with /join Torrent or by using the IP torrent.minehut.gg. Join their Discord to interact with their community!

History
JerichoTorrent played alone on a fresh 1.19 Survival world for a year and then decided to open a server to the public on February 2023. With experience with running Minecraft servers dating back to 2019, Jericho decided to focus on community building and establishing lore and history on a now 2.5 year old Minecraft world. Later that year, Torrent opened new gamemodes, slowly expanding the network. The server has had many notable events in the past including an Alien Invasion, in which players battled with moving air vehicles to take down an alien overlord invading the planet. As Torrent continued to expand its network, half of it was moved to a virtual dedicated server for additional resources, which allowed the network to open another proxy server to use with Minehut's External Server Plan. Today, Torrent plans to drop its new fully-original SkyFactions server on October 15th, 2024.
