Overview

RPG servers are the most unique servers you can find on Minehut. Often combining farming, fishing, mining, and PVP / PVE elements. Players are either given a set of starting equipment or a task to obtain some. This gamemode focuses on grindy elements like leveling skills, items, or stats to become the strongest player.

Variations

Not all RPG servers follow the same format despite having similar features. For example, in the category some server types you may find are Simulators, Backrooms / SCP servers, Dungeon Crawlers, RNG Rolling, and Open World Adventure servers to name a few. Simulators are often games based off of Roblox minigames recreated within Minecraft these can also fall under the Minigame/Farming category. Backrooms servers are often escape room type servers sometimes with entities spawned throughout to add to the horror of the game. Dungeon Crawlers are often fast paced rogue-like games where players venture into dungeons or floors and work to clear it and kill a boss at the end. RNG Rolling falls similarily under the Roblox copy category and you spend time on the server to unlock items through a RNG based rolling system. Open World Adventure servers often have features similar to Dungeon Crawlers or are even a mix of the two except there is a larger world to be explored rather than just floors.

How To Create

Often when owners create a RPG the majority will be programmed with the English based coding language Skript. Although intimidating at first it unlocks unlimited possibilities often locked through the challenges of plugin development. To gain more knowledge of Skript join the SkUnity discord or explore forums online.

• TAB (Allows you to configure formatted TAB & integrates with Luckperms)

• WorldEdit (Quickly create a amazing looking server)
• WorldGuard (Protect your world)
• Citizens (NPC Plugin, has custom shop support)

Notable Servers

Throughout the years RPG's have come and gone with many leaving a considerable impact on the Minehut RPG community. Some notable servers that recently gained popularity include Dunheon, MageRPG, and DungeonDodge.
