The first update to come out was the new market experience on July 27th, 2021[2].

This update introduced the Minehut Market which has since now been discontinued. It was available at https://shop.minehut.com. This update also revamped the layout of the entire website so that it matched the new market theme.

Custom Plugins and New File Manager

Main articles: Custom Plugins and File Manager

The next update to come out was custom plugins and the new file manager on August 3rd, 2021. [3][4]

Before this update, users could only install plugins that Minehut had available in their plugins tab. This update allows users to be able to install any plugin onto their servers without any limits.

The file manager also got a big design change and updates that allows you to upload zip folders, download files, rename files and folders, new text editor and syntax highlighting, file size display, reading .log.gz files directly on the website, and much more! This update also removed the 12 plugin limit that free servers had.

Custom Versions and New Addon Panel

Main articles: Custom Versions and Addons Panel

The next update to come out was custom server versions and a new addon panel on August 20th, 2021[5].

Two months before this update, all servers automatically updated to the latest version whenever a new Minecraft version released. But on June 11th, 2021, Minehut allows players to choose server versions for the first time. But this was only available to 1.16.x and 1.17.x, which were the latest Minecraft versions at the time. But this update expanded those versions and allows players to pick and server versions from 1.8.8 to the latest version. It also introduced new server softwares including modded softwares.

A new addon tab on the panel was also introduced which replaced the old one. It was integrated with the Minehut Market so users could install regular plugins and market content onto their server from this page. Mods were also added to the addons tab so it wasn't just plugins.

Live Console

Main article: Live Console

The next update to come out was the live console on August 26th, 2021[6].

This update added a console tab to the server dashboard which displayed a live feed of the server's console. Before this update, players had to manually view the logs/latest.log file in the file manager to see the console's output and it was not live either. This update made it easier to access those logs live.

This update also improved the file manager a bit more by adding progress indicators on upload, made uploading and downloading faster, and fixed an issue of replacing dashes with underscores.

Server Networks

Main article: Server Networks

The next update to come out was server networks on October 20th, 2021[7].

This update allowed users to create their own mini network inside of the Minehut network. The proxy softwares that were supported were Velocity and Waterfall. The proxy server and any connected servers all need a server plan in order to work in a proxy. This is due to networks using more resources than regular servers because as long as one person is online in a network server, all servers in the network will remain online. Many big servers on Minehut started to use this feature before External servers released.

Hackathon

Main article: Hackathon

The Hackathon was an event that took place from October 22nd to November 19th, 2021. Because of the Unleashed Update, a server making competition was put on to see who can make the best server with the new features.

There were 6 different categories and the winners got an exclusive Bedrock icon, the Patron rank, and a year of free hosting on the Minehut Unlimited plan.
