Description
The HyruleGamingGroup SMP, also known as the HGG SMP or HyruleGG SMP, is a vanilla Minecraft server that primarily focuses on survival gameplay. This Minecraft experience is part of the community with the same name, HyruleGamingGroup, founded by HylianDescent in the year 2017. The server can be joined through IP mc.hyrulegaminggroup.com
History
The SMP saw its debut on December 16, 2020 and was greeted with a handful of players coming straight from HylianDescent's Twitch streams. Most players that joined that day still roam around in the present, whereas some have moved on to pursue other things. October 15, 2021 introduced the SMP's first custom item, which was not powered by any plugins. The Candy Cane item was the first properly introduced custom item to the server on December 1, 2021, powered by a plugin which to this day is still being actively used.

Our Survival world offers a semi-vanilla survival experience like no other. Play Minecraft exactly the way you normally would, or help enhance your experience by using server-sided commands to set a home, warp to any staff-defined warps or use any of the custom items offered throughout the server.
Creative is exactly what it means, enter a world and be given complete creative freedom. Claim a plot and start building to your hearts content!
PvP is currently one of the least focused on features. Hop into a world dedicated to nothing but fighting, or type /player toggle pvp on to start fighting in the survival world with anyone who has also toggled this on.
CraftWare is what makes our server stand out, as it is an in-house developed minigame based on the WarioWare series by Nintendo. Score points and spend them on goodies to use in the survival world!
Rotating Worlds is our unique concept where we switch the world to an entirely new challenge every three months or so. It started with hardcore mode, then switched to Skygrid and then switched to a Beta 1.7.3 Terrain generated world.
Custom items come in many shapes and forms. We have items that allow the wielder to double jump, or even ride the arrow they shoot using a bow.
Supporter Rewards are obtainable by monetarily supporting the server. Monetarily supporting will give you one Supporter Point per 5 euros. These points can be spent on colored nicknames, skin kits, particle effects, particle styles and pets. This server is not a and never will be a pay to win server.
Skin Kits are special tool items that can apply a themed skin to any of your tools, regardless of material. They only work for Pickaxes, Axes, Shovels, Hoes and Swords, and soon Maces as of 1.21
