FunMinesX
Overview
FunMinesX is an OP Prison type server which was originally created by Bluez9 (bluezz9 on discord) on August 8th, 2021.
It has received many revamps and season updates since the server began. However, the quality has always stayed the same!

Current gameplay
There are many features in the game. The most notable features are listed below:
AFK
The AFK area is an area where players can grind keys offline.
The area can be upgraded through the AFK upgrades merchant.
Pickaxes
Pickaxes are the primary tool to use in mines to mine blocks. You can also enchant these pickaxes to make them more powerful!
Pickaxe Types
There are 7 main pickaxes types all with varying abilities.
When mining, all pickaxes, but the netherite pickaxe, have a chance to spawn an animal in the mine which you can then punch for tokens.

LightSabers
LightSabers are an off-hand item that are used to instantly break special blocks by just looking at them in mines. The types of these special blocks are token blocks, lucky blocks, and other event blocks. And they come in different colors, all having different uses and multipliers.

Infinity Gauntlet
The infinity gauntlet is an improved and permeant version of the lightsaber. You can add stones to the infinity gauntlet to make it work better and give it new and better abilities! (Reality stone, mind stone, and etc). The gauntlet could be obtained during the infinity update by completing 5 quests given.
Enchants
Enchants can be applied to pickaxes to boost their strength.
Many enchants can be used to boost multiple aspects of the pickaxe.
All pickaxes require varying amounts of tokens to use.

Keyfinder

Frenzy

35 | 350 | Each level decreases the time you have to mine for until you receive a frenzy bonus. Frenzy bonus gives more cash per block. |
Black hole

Magician

70 | 150 | Has a 1% chance to give you a potion effect. Each level increases the length the potion effect is for. |
Builder

100 | 250 | Crouching for 5 seconds restores broken blocks around you. Each level increases the amount of blocks that are restored. |
Generosity

125 | 100 | Each level increases the chance to gift the entire server a key. |
Laser
|
125 | 250 | Has a 1% chance to spawn a laser beam. Each level increases the length of the beam. |
Avalanche

175 | 500 | Each level increases the chance to fire snowballs which mine blocks out of your head. |
Pets
Pets are a key way to boost your cash multiplier allowing you to unlock more mines.
Types of Multiplicative Pets
Some pets are special and can grant bonus multipliers.
Huge
Huge pets are hatched from most eggs with a ~1/500 chance.
Huge pets offer a bonus 2x-4x multiplier.
Titanic
Titanic pets are hatched from most eggs with a ~1/50000 chance.
Titanic pets offer a bonus 10x-16x multiplier.
Rainbow
Rainbow pets are formed using the /rainbow command and fusing 10 of the same pets together.
Rainbow pets offer a bonus 1.75x multiplier.
Event pets
Event pets are obtained fortnightly/weekly through the event pet stand located at spawn.
The zookeeper NPC will have varying quests to earn yourself an event pet.
Many huge event pets can be created but only 1 titanic event pet of each type will ever exist.
Butterfly event
During the butterfly event players broke Cookie Blocks (Which had a chance to break) for Cookies.
These Cookies could be spent at the Zoo by purchasing the Butterfly Pet.
The butterfly pet allows players to fly for 10 seconds once every 30 seconds.
Phoenix event
During the phoenix event, players had to find parkour token blocks in mines and break them for Parkour Tickets.
By right clicking Parkour Tickets, you would be sent to a random parkour course, on completion, the player would receive
a token, players could spend these tokens at the Zoo by purchasing a Phoenix Pet.
Crab event
During the crab event, players had to fight monsters in the monster mine to earn themselves a Crab Cake.
This item could be consumed for positives effects to fight monsters, or 64 of these could be used to purchase a Crab Pet.
This pet would increase the durability of LightSabers, and increase the reach of LightSabers.
Bat event
During the Bat event, players would scour spawn looking for dragon eggs to collect, once the player would accumulate 90 eggs, the eggs could be spent at the Zookeeper for a huge bat pet. This pet would allow you to X-Ray through blocks and show you your nearest Token Block.
Store
The store can be used to purchase many items and can be accessed here.
Ranks
Ranks are a way to both visually show off yourself and receive bonus in-game perks.

Lootboxes
The ruby lootbox is the current lootbox in game and can be purchased for $17.50 from the store.
Unlike other crates the ruby lootbox awards the player with 3 items from a selection of 9 as opposed to 1

Season 1
Release date: 8th of August 2021
This season saw the start of FunMinesX humble beginings and followed an A-Z mine feel.

Release date: 13th of November 2021
This season continued the A-Z mine server theme but worked on adding custom enchants and more polished items.

Season 3
Release date: 5th of April 2022
This season completely reworked the feel of FunMinesX for good. It had the first texture pack and also changed the style of the server to a skymines feel.
This season was the first season to use schematics in builds.

Season 4
Release date: 24th of September 2022
This season continued the feel of skymines. But most notably this server focused on adding more custom textures to blocks.
This season was the first season to feature any custom models (During the Christmas event)

Season 5
Release date: 11th of March 2023
This season, the style of FunMinesx was changed from skymines to an indoors OP prison server.
This season was the first season to introduce pets into the server.
This season was featured by an old Minehut admin in their discord.

Release date: 2nd of August 2023
This season changed the style of FunMinesX to focus on colors. This season introduced the ability dust and being able to fuse dust into tools

Release date: 9th of March 2024
This season kept the style of the server similar but introduced multi-dust pickaxes.
This season was the first season to include multiple pet equip.s

Season 8 (Current)
Release date: 22nd of July 2024
This season changed the style of FunMinesX back to the A-Z mines but still incorporated many features from seasons 6 and 7.
This season is the most recent season. This season has taken inspiration from all previous seasons and has been carefully crafted to ensure that all fan-favorite features have been kept.
