Gems are a currency on Minehut that is used to purchase Cosmetics. Gems can be earned from salvaging duplicate cosmetics from crates or by voting to earn 5 gems per vote per day.
History
Gems were introduced at the same time as when cosmetics got revamped on September 20th, 2022.
On August 30th, 2024, 5 gems per vote were added as a reward for voting on top of the 10 credits players already received.
On September 5th, 2024, a new billboard reward was introduced where watching a quick video ad would give you 500 free gems to use on the gem shop. The image on that billboard looked like this.
